The next entry in the Short Stories project, "Moments with Maci" is out now.

It’s an EP about the moments spent with my cousin's 3 y/o daughter, Maci. Each song is a different moment that I've had with her during Christmas 2018, July 2019, and September 2019.

Backstory: This EP was actually a Christmas gift to my cousin and his family. I started writing this project shortly after Christmas 2018, since I was with Maci a lot during that family trip and got inspired to record her for a track. This turned into multiple tracks, so I then decided to make a full project to give her family as a 2019 Christmas gift.

The process for writing this EP was different than anything I've done before, because I really could only work on this whenever I was able to see Maci. I live in a different state than a lot of my family (dad's side), so I was only able to see everyone for family events. When I was able to see her, I would play with her and let my phone's mic record everything, and then work with the audio I recorded once I got back home. I also had to record her in secrecy, since this was a gift. All the audio samples that you hear of Maci are her just being herself. I never told her what to say/how to say it or anything like that. I wanted this project to feel really natural, so I just hit record, put my phone away, and let Maci say whatever she wanted. She never knew I was recording her either.

Overall though, I'm really happy with the final result of this project. It's honestly my favorite one I've done so far.

This is also the most personal my music has ever gotten, I hope you guys enjoy it!
